Dr. Antje Mansbrügge, *1969 in Hanover, Innovation Director
has worked in the foundation sector for 15 years. She was the Founding Managing Director of Toepfer Stiftung gGmbH from 2016 on and developed science programmes run by the Alfred Toepfer Stiftung F.V.S. In 2010, she established Lehren – the Alliance for Higher Education in the foundation system and directed it up until 2020. She developed the concept of Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre in 2019 and is Innovation Director of the new organisation since 2020.
Antje Mansbrügge’s professional background is in literary studies. She studied German language and literature as well as language teaching in Hamburg and applied cultural studies in Lüneburg. She is a trained organisational consultant. She was an assistant lecturer in German studies and further education for academic scientists at the University of Hamburg, and she taught for two years as a DAAD lecturer at Ain Shams University in Cairo/Egypt literature, language and cultural history.
Antje Mansbrügge was a Board Member of the non-profit initiative Common Purpose Germany and is member of the board of trustees of Rauhes Haus Protestant University of Applied Sciences.
