Dr Antje Mansbrügge, *1969 in Hanover, Innovation Director
has been working in the foundation sector for 15 years. Since founding the Toepfer Stiftung gGmbH in 2016 she has been its managing director and previously was responsible for developing the academic programmes of the Alfred Toepfer Stiftung FVS. In 2010 she founded Lehren and in 2012 she established the Alliance for Higher Education within the Foundation and led the Lehren activities.
Antje Mansbrügge’s professional field is literary studies. She studied German Language and Literature and Language Teaching Research in Hamburg as well as Applied Cultural Studies in Lüneburg. She is also a trained organisational consultant. She was a lecturer in German studies and continuing academic education at the University of Hamburg and taught for two years as a DAAD lecturer for Literature, Language and Cultural History at the Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.
Antje Mansbrügge was a member of the board of the non-profit organisation Common Purpose Germany and is on the university council of the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen.
